Delete your account

How to request deletion of your IlmFlow account and personal data

IlmFlow accounts are created and managed by your madrasah’s admin, not by you directly, so account deletion goes through them — they hold your records as the data controller and IlmFlow only processes data on their instructions. This page explains how to ask for your account and personal data to be deleted.

From the app or website

  1. Sign in and go to your Profile page.
  2. Tap or click “Delete my account”.
  3. Confirm “Send request”. This sends your madrasah’s admin a notification and an email asking them to action the deletion.

Can’t sign in?

Email info@ilmflow.co.ukwith the email address on your account and the name of your madrasah, and we will forward the request to your madrasah’s admin on your behalf.

What happens next

Deletion isn’t instant — your madrasah’s admin reviews and actions the request in line with their own record-keeping duties (for example, some records such as payroll data must be kept for a minimum period under UK law).
