What is IlmFlow?+
IlmFlow is all-in-one madrasa management software for Islamic schools and supplementary (weekend/evening) madrasahs in the UK. It runs attendance, student records, Hifz & Quran tracking, exams, fees and staff payroll from one platform, with parent and teacher portals.
Does IlmFlow handle UK payroll and HMRC?+
Yes. IlmFlow works out PAYE tax and National Insurance from each staff member’s tax code, handles pensions and student & postgraduate loans, and produces payslips, P60s and P45s. Direct Real Time Information (RTI) filing to HMRC is currently in final testing and coming soon.
Is IlmFlow suitable for Hifz and Quran classes?+
Yes. It has a dedicated Hifz tracker (Sabak, Sabak Para and Dhor), Juz-30 memorisation and dua progress per student, and a recitation log — alongside standard maktab classes.
Can parents see their child’s progress?+
Yes. Parents get their own portal to follow attendance, grades, Hifz progress and fees, and to report an absence — from any phone. They’re invited automatically by email when you enrol a child.
Is IlmFlow GDPR-friendly and is my data private?+
Yes. IlmFlow is built to be GDPR-friendly, each madrasah’s data is kept private to that madrasah, and online fee payments go straight to your own bank via Stripe.
